Meet the bark, behind bbt.

Sidney, president

Sidney is a digital marketing and design professional and the powerhouse behind Be Social Marketing, where creativity and branding are part of her everyday vibes! When she isn’t building bold brands, she’s loving on "pitties", the only dogs she has ever owned. The real obsession began with Luna, a 12 week old American Staffy who became her soul dog, her shadow, and the undeniable proof that bully breeds are just potatoes.

Sidney has been involved in the animal community for years, from training settings to volunteer work. She joined the Bark, Brew and Tattoo board in 2019 and proudly stepped into the role of President in 2025.

Sidney, her husband, and Luna have conquered it all together including CCL surgeries, rehab, and all the joyful chaos that comes with a pittie who knows she runs the household. Through every high, low, and unforgettable moment, Luna has shown them resilience, humor, and the most unconditional love.

Monica, Vice  president

Monica has been working in the veterinary field since she was thirteen years old. Her love for animals began long before that, as a little girl caring for injured birds and lost kittens.

In 2016 Monica graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in Veterinary Science. Shortly after that passing her state boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Throughout her career she has worked in small animal general practice, an exotic mixed animal practice and emergency medicine.

In 2013 Monica adopted her first "pocket pit" Lotus. Along with her experience with Pitbulls in the veterinary field, Lotus became the light of Monica's inspiration to  found Bark, Brew& Tattoo, after facing discrimination with the general public.

Lotus sadly passed away in 2024, but Monica's work continues on through Lotus' inspiration and legacy.
